Information entropy and fragmentation functions

Several groups have recently investigated the flow of information in high-energy collisions, from entanglement entropy proton yielding classical Shannon its parton distribution functions (pdfs), through jet splitting generating entropy, to hadron decays. Lacking literature is a discussion fragmentation (FFs) instances where they can be considered as probability distributions, and we here provide it. We find that this single, convenient number characterize future progress extraction functions. also deploy related Kullback-Leibler divergence between two distributions assess existing relations among FFs (pdfs) such Barone, Drago Ma. From couple current parametrizations FFs, do not supporting empirical evidence for relation, although it possible pdfs similar power-laws near x=1 endpoint.
